LEZYNE PRESENTS: 2025 RIDER OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Lezyne is excited to present the 2025 Rider of the Year awards, held in partnership with MBUK, BikeRadar, and Cycling Plus magazine. Now in its third year, the awards recognize outstanding achievements across both road and mtb disciplines by way of public nomination and voting.
This year’s awards feature six categories: Rider of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and a Lifetime Achievement award, for both road and mountain biking. The awards are open to all cyclists, and nominations are gathered from fans from around the world.
Following the nomination period, which closes on 21 August, a panel of expert judges will evaluate submissions and create a shortlist of finalists. These finalists will then be put to a public vote, while the Lifetime Achievement Award will be determined by the judging panel.
Winners will be announced through the following publications: issue 440 of Cycling Plus (on sale Dec. 19, 2026), issue 455 of MBUK (Dec. 30, 2025), relevant social media channels, and at a live awards ceremony scheduled for November 2025 in Bristol, England.
